  • Sustained Virologic Response (SVR): Continued undetectable HCV viral load 24 weeks (six months) after completion of treatment. There is a very minimal chance that the virus will return once an SVR is achieved.

  • Rapid Virologic Response (RVR): An undetectable HCV viral load at week 4 of treatment. The probability of a sustained virological response occurring is increased if your viral load is undetectable at week four.

  • Early Virologic Response (EVR): An undetectable HCV viral load at week 12 of treatment. The probability of a sustained virological response occurring is increased if your viral load is undetectable at week twelve.

  • End of Treatment Virologic Response (ETVR): An undetectable HCV viral load upon completion of treatment. There is no possibility of an SVR if an ETVR is not achieved.
