Education is one of the most important aspects of FactorHealth's patient and community centric service model.
The Goal of our Education Programs is to educate patients
and community members to become more self-sufficient in care and
become advocates for themselves and others.
We Help Community members gain self-esteem, knowledge, and
a sense of empowerment as they meet others who share their chronic
illness.
At FactorHealth we work in conjunction with the community
and community organizations to develop and present educational
programs to meet the specific needs of each individual community
we work with.
Our Education Programs are provided on a regular basis to
the general community. FactorHealth often sponsors education programs
through local organizations.
FactorHealth's Free, Skills-Based Community Education Programs
provide community members with professional and peer education,
information about local and national resources and address specific
topics of interest.
FactorHealth's Telephonic Programs provide consumers with
the opportunity to hear from medical and community professionals
on topics of interest to their particular disease.
FactorHealth's Education Programs also provide participants
the chance to hear from and speak with others who share many of
their same concerns and experiences.
